This beautiful part of the Ribble Valley is close to the Forest of Bowland, Gisburn Forest, and within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District and the Fylde coast including Blackpool.The area is renowned for its excellent walking, cycling, fishing and touring. Low Moor Village is approximately 1 mile from historic Clitheroe town centre with its Norman castle, traditional and individual shops, restaurants, wine bar, pubs, supermarkets and cinema. There is a village store and fish and chip shop within 150 meters of the cottage. Close by is a Leisure Centre inc.Swimming Pool and Tennis Courts. Within 2 minutes is the River Ribble the start of glorious walks and beautiful views and wildlife.Virtually opposite is a Public telephone booth.

The Cottage

Painter’s Cottage is an early 19^th Century property situated in Low Moor Village near Clitheroe. The recently renovated cottage is decorated and furnished to a high standard with gas central heating, instant hot water and PVC double-glazing throughout. The cottage is fully carpeted with traditional boarded doors in all rooms, small patio garden, and a lockable shed containing a tumble dryer and garden furniture. The cottage has on street parking at both the front and rear. There are also frequent bus service into the town centre and interlinks to local towns and villages. Trains from the local station connect to the West Coast mainline stations, Blackpool and Manchester (both 40 minutes) and there are Summer weekend services connecting to the Settle-Carlisle railway.

Bedroom 1: Double Bed, Single Bed (cot available), with exposed beam, wardrobe and dressing table .Bedroom 2:Double Bed, Single Bunk Bed, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers, and exposed beam.Bedroom 3:Single 2’6” Bed, wardrobe and table.Bathroom: Bath with shower taps, toilet, washbasin and shaver point.
